L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The white 2018 La Flamenca is a blend of Macabeo and Pansa Blanca (the local name given to Xarello in Alella) with 11.5% alcohol. After the fermentation in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, 60% of the volume remained in stainless steel with the lees, 20% was moved to ceramic eggs and 20% matured in used Manzanilla butts. It's subtle, faintly Mediterranean and clean, with white fruit aromas. It has a light palate with clean and focused flavors, a salty minerality and fresh finish. There are 3,600 bottles of this. It was bottled in March 2019.
