Kanonkop Pinotage 2018

Winemaker: Abrie Beeslaar. Aromas of crushed carnation and violet petals lead the nose of this red, with jammy fruit tones of red plum, cherry and boysenberry that show at the core. The palate is medium in weight and velvety in feel, with good grip and ample acidity on the palate that frames the ripe, fleshy black-fruit flavors through the close. Lingering floral and sweet-spice elements grace the finish. Drink now–2028.
