L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"The 2012 Juan Gil 18 Meses is a blend of 60% Monastrell, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah raised for 18 months in barrel. It seems to have digested the wood much better than its 2011 sibling and with more integrated fruit plus aromas of incense and balsam over the core of ripe fruit; it shows a contained jamminess in a commercial way. The palate is medium to full-bodied with some tannins and succulent fruit that leaves you with sticky lips like when you bite on a candied apple. 30,000 bottles".
