L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The second vintage of the top-of-the-range single-vineyard Tempranillo is the 2015 Horcajo, which reached 15% alcohol in a warm and dry year like 2015. It went through malolactic in barrique and matured in French oak barrels for 18 months. This is the most powerful and concentrated of their wines; it's quite dark and has aromas of dark fruit, roasted coffee and toast with an earthy touch and a hint of smoke. The palate is full bodied, round and lush, with decadent flavors, baroque, with lush fruit and generous oak in a very showy style. 1,500 bottles were filled in November 2018.
