L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

Their entry-level white 2017 Blanco 2º Año is a blend of Viura with 25% Tempranillo Blanco from a year marked by frost followed by heat and low yields, which meant an early harvest. They want this to be their classical white, and it has an old-style label, aiming at the whites that were produced before. A blend of vineyards in Haro, it fermented in stainless steel and matured in a combination of oak barrels and concrete vats with the lees for five months. It's clean and spicy, with a medium-bodied palate and good freshness, with nuance and complexity provided by the longer élevage and with moderate influence from the oak. This should develop nicely in bottle. 33,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2018.

James Suckling:

A fresh, white-pear and melon nose with a fresh, juicy feel on the palate. Very lively and fleshy pear and melon flavors here. Drink now.
