L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The very pale and delicate 2020 Goliardo Caíño is floral, balsamic and peppery, delicate and fresh, varietal with moderate ripeness and notable acidity with a lively stream of freshness. 2,000 bottles were produced. It was bottled in January 2023.

Tim Atkin:

Left in barrel for two years to "dominate the acidity of the variety", according to Rodri Méndez, this is a blend of grapes from two vineyards, A Telleira and Genovena, that are 50 and 180 years' old, respectively. Wonderfully perfumed, crunchy and refreshing, it marries aromas of thyme and oregano with raspberry and cranberry flavours, subtle wood and haunting minerality. Thrillingly complex. 2024-30
