The lurid purple 2019 Gigondas Terrasses de Montmirail boasts impressive raspberry aromas, plus hints of dark chocolate, Provençal herbs and espresso. A Grenache-based blend with small amounts of Mourvèdre and Syrah, it's full-bodied but vibrant, with supple tannins and an almost creamy mouthfeel, but also bright acids that keep the wine fresh on the finish. - Joe Czerwinski.
