L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

Hints of bay leaf and rosemary mark the nose of the 2019 Gigondas Le Secret des Dentelles, a Grenache-heavy blend (about 70%). The resinous herbs accent redcurrant and black cherry flavors on the medium to full-bodied palate. A bit firm and tannic, this looks to have up to a decade of cellaring potential. - Joe Cwerwinski.

Jeb Dunnuck:

A good-looking barrel sample, the 2019 Gigondas Le Secret Des Dentelles reveals a deeper purple/ruby color as well as a beautiful nose of black raspberries and wild strawberry fruits intermixed with lots candied violets, ground black pepper, and a distinct sense of minerality. Medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated, and structured on the palate, it’s going to benefit from short term cellaring and should have 10-15 years of longevity.

Decanter:

Full-bodied, packed full of fruit, and plenty of puppy fat. Sweet fruit on the finish, it's very ripe but not overripe. A little touch of jamminess, but it's succulent and adds richness and sucrosité to the wine. Good length of finish. Very amiable wine, for those that enjoy a subtly sweeter style.
