L'avis des experts

Tim Atkin:

The quality of this single site, 100-year-old vineyard in La Aguilera really shines through on the nose and palate. Peppery, fresh and spicy, with deftly integrated new French oak, bramble and raspberry fruit, a backbone of tannin and racy acidity. Has the concentration to age. 2023-30

Decanter:

Massive, impressive and broad wine with notes of sweet spices, chocolate and cigar box. Ready to drink now but a long life awaits. Very long finish.

James Suckling:

Fine oak spices and dark chocolate with some grilled herbs to the black cherries and blackberries. Full-bodied and concentrated on the palate with plenty of dusty tannins enveloping the blackberry fruit and black chocolate. Long and spicy finish. An outstanding example from Ribera del Duero. Drinkable now, but better from 2025.
