L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"Finca" means estate or property in Spanish, and the Finca range wants to be the expression of the location of the vineyards, as is the case with the 2014 Finca Blanco, which they liked aged. It's produced with Viura complemented by 10% Garnacha Blanca and Malvasía Riojana, fermented in stainless steel and aged partly in barrel and partly in stainless steel with lees and bâtonnage. It's then blended and put back in stainless steel with the lees for a further year. They mention Italian whites when it comes to the style of this wine, and it did remind me of some whites from Italy with those yellow fruit, chamomile, quince and spicy aromas reminiscent of some skin contact/orange wines. It's ripe with a developed nose and has a palate with some dusty tannins and a rustic touch, very tasty and nicely balanced. An impressive and characterful white for an entry level! 5,000 bottles were filled in June 2017.
