L'avis des experts

Tim Atkin:

Finca Monte Alto hails from a seven-hectare vineyard of the same name in Condado do Tea and is consistently one of the best wines in the sub-region. Aged for two years on lees before release, it’s an Albariño with the structure to age. Floral, focused and stony, with understated minerality, pear and yellow apple flavours and a tropical fruit undertone. 2024-30

Decanter:

Creamy asparagus aromas with an attractive cheesy character from ageing. Silky texture with balanced acidity, and a touch of dried mango on the finish. Young and full of character, should develop nicely.
