The Wine Advocate:

I tasted two vintages of a skin-contact Albariño, a kind of "orange" wine that is sold without appellation of origin. The 2018 Maceración con Pieles kept more of a varietal profile, floral and perfumed, livelier than the 2017. This fermented with skins, from the last plot he picks, an organically farmed vineyard vinified in a similar way as the reds—fermentation of the foot-trodden barriques and kept with the skins for four weeks and then matured in a 1,000-liter acacia barrel from Austria. It has a soft palate with a creamy, mellow texture (it goes through full malolactic). 1,353 bottles were filled in November 2019.
