L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The top of the range from Rueda, the 2017 El Transistor is pure Verdejo fermented in a combination of barriques and foudres with indigenous yeasts and aged for eight to nine months before bottling. This is their focus in Rueda, to produce a serious wine with a lively palate and the sapidity of limestone soils that provide an almost salty sensation. The oak is imperceptible, and the nose is quite primary and clean, with focused aromas that are translated into a more expressive wine than Basa, without the compression sometimes derived from stainless steel. It's harmonious, and it's nicely textured and tasty. 13,459 bottles. - Luis Gutiérrez.
