El Puntido comes from a vineyard that surrounds the cellar in Páganos, located on limestone and sandstone soils. Aged in new French oak, which is generally the case with the top reds from the Eguren brothers, it's a powerhouse of a wine, with masses of texture and concentration, chewy tannins and assertive oak.
