L'avis des experts

Tim Atkin:

Venerable parcels from the southern Rioja Alta zone of Cardenas are the source of this stunning white blend from Raúl Acha. It's the kind of thing that will appeal to Burgundy drinkers on a budget, marrying Viura with lesser amounts of Malvasía, Garnacha Blanca and Calagraño. Fennel and wild flower aromas segue into a palate with subtle oak, oatmeal, citrus and nutmeg flavours and a lingering finish. Amazing value. 2023-29.

James Suckling:

Peaches, pears, grapefruit and praline on the nose. Hints of butterscotch. It’s creamy and gently toasty, with a medium body, fresh acidity and a tasty, nutty finish. Vegan. Drink now.
