The Wine Advocate:

There is an Albariño from Salnés first produced around 2011 by Zárate in Rías Baixas that for some reason I had never tasted. This time, I had a bottle of the 2019 El Jardín de Lucía, which had been bottled in late March and felt a little reductive. Because there was a land consolidation exercise, this was produced with grapes averaging 30 years of age that were purchased from neighbors, mostly in Sisán. This needs a little bit of time in bottle. Even though it's a wine that people drink young, I'd wait until at least 2021 to pull the cork, because as the wine settles in bottle, it develops more complexity and nuance. It has primary aromas, from a cooler fermentation, clean and for the general public. It has a vibrant palate with notable acidity, which reinforces my idea to wait a little more—or enjoy it young with seafood! 50,000 bottles produced.
