The 2017 Riesling Trocken Rotschiefer (aka Red Slate Dry) is clear, intense and lush on the ripe and well-concentrated nose with its warm slate and tropical fruit aromas. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, rich and racy-piquant, and the finish is straight and fresh, with remarkable complexity, salt, grip and pronounced acidity.
