The Wine Advocate:

The 2021 La Diva was bottled quite early, in August 2022. This single-vineyard bottling comes from a plot of 0.35 hectares of ungrafted vines on northeast-facing terraces on sand and limestone soils protected by dry stone walls. It's mostly Tempranillo with some 8% white Albillo grapes that fermented with 30% full clusters in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts with 55 days of maceration, malolactic in tank and matured in two used 228-liter French oak barrels for nine months. It has 14.14% alcohol and a pH of 3.77, and against all odds, the wine is paler, more ethereal, elegant and subtler than the 2020 despite the analytical parameters. It seems like the long maceration works best with a shorter élevage, and here, the wine is magnificent clean, fine, precise and elegant, still a bit young but with the balance, freshness and stuffing for a very good development in bottle. This has to be one of the finest vintages for this incredible wine. Only 544 bottles were filled the 18th of August 2022.
