Covela Arinto 2019

The 2019 Arinto Covela is unoaked, dry and comes in at 12.5% alcohol. In this vintage, which tended to produce wines with good acidity, this is a big winner if you like them sharp, fresh and pointed. There's not a lot of body, but it does have a decent expression of the grape. Plus, it is wonderfully invigorating. It ends with a mouthwatering finish. It will be interesting to see how this ages, but the acidity of this grape should certainly help preserve this, perhaps longer than indicated. This bargain runs only around eight euros in Portugal. There was no USA pricing available.
