The Wine Advocate:

The old Colleita Seleccionada has been updated to name the vineyard where the grapes grow and is now the 2016 Finca O Figueiral Colleita Seleccionada. This wine shows a lot less influence from its élevage in 500-liter oak barrels than in the past. It's elegant, insinuating and a little shy with nuance and detail, but you need to pull it from the glass. The palate is very focused, precise, and nicely chiseled, with delineation and minerality that make it very tasty and long. It has great freshness and balance with no trace of flavors from the ten months it spent in barrel. This comes from the vineyard that was the first to be replanted, and it has the concentration, depth and clout of the old vines, with 70% Treixadura and the rest Godello, Albariño, Loureira, Lado, Silveiriña, Caíño Blanco, Dona Blanca and others. Superb! 3,300 bottles were filled in December 2017.
