L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

I've always had a soft spot for the rosé 2016 Assemblage, a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that displays a deep copper color, abundant small bubbles and intense notes of red berries intermixed with hints of baked brioche and yeasts, from aging in bottle with lees for no less than 60 months, which gave it complexity, depth and a velvety texture. It's tasty and long and has 12% alcohol and 5.4 grams of acidity balanced by 3.3 grams of residual sugar, but it comes through as bone dry and with a chalky finish. 7,500 bottles produced.
