L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The 2018 Tayac is composed of 52% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it strides confidently with redcurrants and cassis scents followed by cedar, cinnamon toast and violets. The palate is medium to full-bodied with loads of expressive fruit and a grainy texture, finishing perfumed. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown.

James Suckling:

This Margaux shows notes of mulberry, dark plum, nutmeg, cacao and earth. Medium-bodied with dusty tannins. Rather tight on the palate with some graphite and tar to the finish. Try after 2022.
