L'avis des experts

Decanter:

Amazingly concentrated nose of honey and flowers, the palate is richly unctuous with intense layers of pineapple, mango and honey, great depth of flavour underpinned with delicious acidity, lovely wine.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2015 Haut Bergeron has a well-defined, quite linear and correct bouquet with subtle honey and acacia scents. The palate is well balanced, smooth in the mouth with white chocolate tincturing the honeyed fruit. I appreciate the acidity of this Sauternes - more understated than its peers, but sophisticated and well crafted. Bravo!

Falstaff:

Mittleres Goldgelb, Silberreflexe. Reife gelbe Birnenfrucht, zart nach Orangenzesten, dezenter Blütenhonig. Saftig, reife Ananas, deutlicher Restzucker, etwas klebrig,es fehlt leider die Säure, die das Ganze spannend macht.

James Suckling:

A ton of dried and caramelized fruits define this lush, mouthfilling wine. If you like really rich Sauternes, there’s just enough acidity to balance the decadence. If you didn’t feel the alcohol slightly on the finish, this would rate more highly.
