L'avis des experts

Decanter:

Classic vanilla and fruitcake nose, along with some creaminess. Smooth tannins on the velvety palate, plus smooth and round, silky tannins, zippy acidity and really good fruit concentration. A lovely example with very good length. Bravo

Tim Atkin:

Cerro Añón is made with selected parcels of Tempranillo Mazuelo, Graciano and Garnacha, all of them in the Rioja Alta sub-region. Elegant, scented and balanced, it's the pick of the current Olarra release, showing balsamic, ginger spicy top notes, fine tannins, stylish oak and plenty of underlying zip and energy. 2021-28
