"The 2010 Cepa 21 is Tempranillo from 15-year-old slope vineyards planted higher up on clay and chalk soils that aged for one year in barrel. It has a balsamic nose with a mixture of aromatic herbs, red and black fruit aromas, vanilla and smoke undertones. It’s still too young, closed and un-giving, with good acidity and balance, fine-grained tannins and again an austere, serious personality. I think this is a great Ribera at a very good price. If I were you I’d wait a little bit. Drink 2015-2020".
