The Wine Advocate:

The powerful, ripe and well-oaked 2014 Celsus is sourced from a small plot planted with very old Tempranillo vines in the village of Morales de Toro. It fermented in stainless steel and matured in new French oak barriques for 14 months. However, the wine doesn't come through as oaky, as the natural concentration and balance of the grapes seems to be able to take the élevage quite well. It's a powerful Toro, with good balance in an XL way, ideal for winter stews and other hearty foods. It's clean, precise and well defined. 2,600 bottles were filled in July 2016.
