The Wine Advocate :

"The 2011 Casa Cisca is the top of their range, sourced from some of their oldest Monastrell vines, over 60 years of age, planted at 7000 meters of altitude and harvested during the first week of October. The grapes are hand-picked and sorted at the winery, macerated and fermented for 14 days at 24-26?C and aged on its lees in new French oak barrels for 16 months. The effect of the extended aging in oak is evident, lots of cedar wood, ash and vanilla, roasted coffee and sweet spices. The fruit is black (damsons, black cherries, blackberries), it’s full-bodied, with the alcohol well-integrated, and I feel there is enough stuffing, acidity and fruit to absorb all that oak. But you’ll need to wait a couple of years. A good powerful Monastrell. Only 8,000 bottles were produced. Drink 2015-2020."
