Adalid uses fruit from Bodegas Briego's home vineyard in high-altitude Fompedraza with a focus on parcels of sandy loam soils. Exhibiting the freshness and "Atlantic" flavours of a cooler, higher-yielding vintage, this is deftly wooded in 50% new French and American barrels, with violet and vanilla spice top notes, fine-grained tannins, crunchy acidity and layers of raspberry and wild strawberry fruit. 2022-28
