L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

A lovely and inviting nose of grilled plums, black cherries and hot stones. Full-bodied with silky tannins. Juicy, succulent and generous without being overdone. Savory undertones of clove, leather and coriander. A hint of blue fruit. Layered and deep. Sustainable. Drink or hold.

The Wine Advocate:

Displaying a magenta rim, the 2020 Syrah Auction Reserve explodes out of the glass with savory and smoky tones of black pepper, charcuterie and charred sausages before hints of iodine and pink and black peppercorns sway out of the glass. Medium-bodied, it expresses flavors of wild brush, savory herbs, black olives and lavender in the mouth along with a balanced structure and ends with a lingering, spicy and tannic edge that is clean and correct. It's unmistakably Syrah and was made with 50% whole-cluster grapes. Bravo!
