L'avis des experts

Decanter:

Ponte da Boga have recuperated this scarce variety, planting it on slate soils in Ribeira Sacra in 2010. After cold maceration, the grapes are pressed and fermented in stainless steel (a small proportion in barriques), with five months' ageing on lees in 500-litre French oak. Lively citrus aromas, with following citrus freshness, stone fruits and light smoky notes with a hint of minerality.

James Suckling:

Very aromatic with fresh peaches, pears, oyster shell, lemongrass and white blossoms on the nose. Crisp, elegant and fresh, with a saline twist to the medium-bodied palate before a deliciously dry and mouthwatering finish. Drink now.
