The Wine Advocate:

The 2021 Alvarinho Muros de Melgaço comes in that oversized Moscato-like flute-shaped bottle. You sure won't mistake it for other "Muros" wines. It is an Alvarinho aged for six months in used French oak, coming in dry and at 12.4% alcohol. Focused and very fresh for an oaked Alvarinho, this is vigorous, gripping and perfectly balanced. Perhaps a little shy of concentration, this is still impressive today for its energy and that freshness. Let's lean up for the moment. It should age well. I'd like to see it develop a little too.
