James Suckling:
A complex nose with fruit ranging from cassis through cranberries to plums, plenty of smoke and a touch of black pepper. A big, powerful wine with tons of soft tannins and plenty of fleshy fruit wrapped around them. Very harmonious, long finish. A blend of petit verdot and syrah. Drink or hold.
