Altanza Familia Reserva 2015

One of five different Reservas that appear under the Altanza label, this is an elegant, refined Tempranillo that uses grapes from Galilea and Fuenmayor. Subtle and perfumed, it has smooth tannins, sweet raspberry and tobacco leaf notes and a sheen of French oak. 2022-25

Dusty wood spices, dark earth and peppercorns to the black cherries and plums. Medium to full body on the palate with powdery tannins that melt into a plummy, bright finish with some savory complexity. Vegan. Drink or hold.
