Alonso del Yerro 2013 Magnum

"The 2013 Crianza was produced with Tempranillo grapes from their organically-farmed vineyards in the village of Roa in Ribera del Duero. It fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts and matured in oak vats and barriques between nine and 15 months depending on the lot. It has bright red fruit and floral aromas, with an herbal twist, in a Rhône way. It has fine tannins and a polished texture, quite round, approachable and pleasant. The only thing I was expecting was a tad more freshness. But this is a great 2013 and always a sure value. 50,000 bottles produced."
