L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The newly released 2015 Alma, Albariño from three plots in O Rosal, is grown on granite soils and bottled after being kept in tank with the lees for nine months. This is a warmer and riper zone of Rías Baixas, with a different character from the better known, marine zone of the Salnés Valley, and the wine clearly shows it. It's peachy with notes of aniseed, aromatic and quite perfumed. The palate shows good volume and length with nice balance. They searched for shallower soils further away from the river, looking for more freshness, which worked very well, especially for a vintage like 2015. The flavors are very intense and pungent, clean and focused, with a very tasty finish of the granite soils. 6,600 bottles were filled in August 2016.
