L'avis des experts

Tim Atkin:

Caíño Tinto is the most acidic and austere of the Galician red grapes and can be something of an acquired taste on its own. This combines aromas of liquorice and rose petal with a palate of redcurrant, pomegranate and green herbs. Tangy and refreshing, with appealing tension, sinewy tannins and plenty of zip and vivacity. 2023-30

The Wine Advocate:

I found more complete ripeness in the 2020 O Esteiro Caíño, which shows strong aromas of black peppercorns, hints of herbs and flowers and a palate with acid berry flavors and a light mouthfeel.
