L'avis des experts

Tim Atkin:

This is one of only a handful of stand-alone Garnacha Blancas in Rioja, alas, as the variety has enormous potential here. Racy and refreshing, it has white pepper, quince and jasmine notes, subtle wood and a steely, mineral-edged core. 2023-28.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2021 Garnacha Blanca has a similar profile as the Torrontés, with moderate alcohol and very high acidity. This comes from the vines they have been regrafting, different biotypes from a massal selection. The wine is floral and perfumed, delicate and ethereal, with Mediterranean and citrus notes, mixing ripeness and power with freshness and elegance. It has 13.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.23 and 6.1 grams of acidity. Like all the whites, it fermented and matured in oak barrel for five months. 1,658 bottles were filled in April 2022. - Luis Gutiérrez.
