L'avis des experts

James Suckling:

Spicy nose of peppercorns, smoked meat, stewed tea leaves, blackcurrants and grilled herbs. It’s medium-to full-bodied with silky tannins. Layered, supple and delicious. Concentrated, yet it remains elegant. Long. Hard to resist now. Drink now or hold.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2017 Pago la Garduña is their Syrah bottling, and in this warm and dry vintage, it shows more herbal (like I saw in the Cabernet from Valdebellón) but doesn't lacking ripeness. This time, it is closer to a New World wine than the wines from the Northern Rhône. It has a full-bodied palate with abundant, fine-grained tannins and a slightly bitter finish. 5,308 bottles were filled in May 2019.
