The single-vineyard red 2017 El Chibirique comes from a vineyard that forms an amphitheater, from a plot with clay-rich soils that have a tendency to produce fine wines. The 100% full clusters fermented in concrete vats and indigenous yeasts, and the wine matured in used 500-liter oak barrels for 12 months. This wine always has more tannin—it has a longer maceration and it ferments with all the stems. There is more potential, concentration, depth and seriousness, a wine for the long haul. A serious, tannic Listán Prieto with a strong volcanic minerality. 4,000 bottles were filled in October 2018. - Luis Gutiérrez.

Muy mineral, de color, sabor y aromas particulares. No se parece a nada hecho en la peninsula.
