Issu de vignobles certifiés biologiques depuis 2006, ce vin se distingue par sa fraîcheur et son équilibre, marqué par le contraste entre sa minéralité et sa bonne acidité naturelle. On trouve ainsi un monovariétal frais et élégant de la variété reine de Galice.

The Wine Advocate:

The eponymous 2019 Zárate is their entry-level Albariño, a vintage with structure and acidity, still very young, a powerful vintage with more of everything and probably a long-distance runner. It's varietal and clean, characterful, powerful and with a long, tasty finish, vibrant and almost salty. 64,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2020.

Decanter:

Textbook Albariño grown on the traditional parral canopy over decayed granite soil. Vines are 35 years old and tend more to fresh minerality in character than simple fruit. This is the easiest of Eulogio Pomares’ white wines to track down, but do also seek out Balado, El Palomar and Tras da Viña if you can. Drinking Window 2020 - 2026
