The Wine Advocate:

The aromatic red 2017 Xanledo is a blend of 60% Caíño Longo and Brancellao with a touch of Espadeiro from a property in the Avia Valley with different orientations and sábrego granite sandy soils. It fermented with full clusters by plot and when possible by variety, and the wines were aged separately and then blended. It has a very young, grapey nose with fragrant notes of violets, in a way reminiscent of a Touriga Nacional. It was harvested very early when they picked properly ripe grapes with fully developed aromas. It follows the path of the 2015, where the tannins were more marked, and they feel riper and more elegant here. Almost 4,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in early November 2018.
