L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The 2010 Pinot Noir Espumante (Vértice), a Blanc de Noir, comes in with just six grams of residual sugar, 7.1 of total acidity and at 12.5% alcohol. It was on the lees for a hefty 84 months before disgorgement in June 2019. About one-third of the blend fermented and aged for eight months in used French oak. (If you're wondering where the 2009 is, there was no 2009 produced.)

Textured, complex and substantial, this has some oxidative hints but also a long, dry finish and plenty of stuffing. I do think this is a step or two behind the last I saw (2008), though. It is still impressive and serious, gripping the palate and lingering nicely. The combination of power and concentration should help this out as it ages. There were 3,508 bottles produced.
