Description

Ce vin rouge intégralement issu de Mencía offre un nez intense dans lequel les arômes de fruit rouge et les notes de chêne, fraîches et légèrement grillées, cohabitent harmonieusement sans s'occulter mutuellement ni se superposer. En bouche il se révèle particulièrement frais, grillé et expressif, et laisse le fruit comme le bois pleinement s'exprimer en fin de bouche.

"The 2010 Vega Montan Adria reminds me of a Syrah from the Valais in Switzerland. It has aged for nine to 14 months in oak and is a wine of strong personality. Meaty and smoky in character, the wood is very well-integrated and a supple palate makes the wine very drinkable. This is also a very good value for the quality it offers. Drink 2013-2019.

Bodegas Adria was created in 1940, but its current incarnation dates from 2002. They own 25 hectares of Godello and a further 25 hectares of Mencia. The wines have gained in elegance and balance while maintaining the character of the zone. This is a name to follow."
