L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"The Bordeaux blend of the top red varies with the vintage, and the 2012 Hipperia was 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot. It feels fresher, cleaner and better balanced than the 2013, which I tasted next to it. It has a combination of red and black fruit, spices and some creamy oak, nicely integrated, approachable and quite elegant. It has a polished palate with fine tannins, good freshness and a very tasty finish. It's impressive to have produced this Bordeaux blend in a zone with zero vine tradition and difficult conditions. 21,870 bottles".
