The Wine Advocate:

The 2017 Uxía da Ponte is a rare varietal Lado, a white grape believed to have originated in the A Arnoia zone of Ribeiro. Produced with indigenous grapes from ancient vines, it fermented at low temperature and was bottled unoaked. The nose reveals some balsamic and medicinal notes reminiscent of bay leaf, with plenty of white fruit and green apple, a little waxy. The palate is fresh and relatively light, with clean flavors, not as intense as their main blended white but still quite tasty. Only 700 bottles were filled in August 2018.
