The Wine Advocate:

The regional red Rufute 2016 Tragaldabas was produced with grapes from different soils and places within the Salamanca appellation, all from vineyards over 60 years old. Rufete is a grape that can produce fresh and light but not banal wines. Here, the destemmed gapes fermented in oak vats and plastic bins with indigenous yeasts, with 30 days of maceration followed by malolactic and ten months in contact with the fine lees. It's perfumed, light and floral, very attractive at first sight, with no oak aromas or flavors and a lively palate with great freshness. This aged in used oak vats, and the oak feels better integrated than the previous year. 7,500 bottles were filled in July 2017.
