L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"Same as the white, there is also a red 2015 Terroir Históric, in this case a blend of 75% Garnacha and the rest Cariñena, sourced from different villages, mostly from llicorella soils. The full clusters fermented with indigenous yeasts and it also matured in cement for six months before bottling. The 2015 vintage was a warm, ripe vintage, and the wine is round and with moderate acidity. The character is quite reductive, so the wine needs air. "I had a bottle that was open for two days, and it was fantastic," Dominik Huber told me. But it's not a nasty reduction, in fact it's quite pleasant, because it's a mineral reduction, if you know what I mean. It makes me think of flint stone and something smoky even. The wine is light "and digestible," added Dominik. "If I open one of my wines at home, it's an Históric." Quite light, as if it was a Gamay from Priorat. 6,000 bottles were filled in April 2016. The idea here is to have serious growth. "Let's see how the market moves, but I can do up to 100,000 bottle of this, but perhaps the limit the market takes is 50,000. We'll see..."
