The Wine Advocate:

Similarly, there is a red 2015 Los Corrillos, again a multi-vineyard, multi-grape blend of Garnacha, Tempranillo and Graciano; these grapes come from three old, head-pruned, micro-vineyards in the village of Viñaspre. He's going to experiment a little with these vineyards, as they'd have the quality to do a single vineyard wine, but the volumes are too small. Same as with the white, the full clusters were foot trodden in a plastic bin and the wine matured in French oak barrels for six months. The nose is ripe, with black fruit and there is no oak anywhere; it develops aromas of violets with time in the glass. It clearly improves with time, so decanting it in advance could be a good idea. The palate shows good concentration and austere tannins, with some chalkiness. Only 300 bottles were filled; in fact, the wine might not even carry the Rioja appellation. The volumes are so small he doesn't even know how to sell it. Price here represents scarcity. - Luis Gutiérrez.
