The Wine Advocate:
There is also a red 2014 Sierra de Toloño that is produced with Tempranillo from old vines in the zone of Rivas de Tereso; it is fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in neutral barrels for some eight months. It has floral and ripe black fruit aromas, quite showy and captivating, without noticeable impact from the oak. The palate is fresh and clean, with round tannins and good acidity. Pleasant and easy to drink, not terribly complex, but very good for what it is. 26,000 bottles produced.
