L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The red blend 2015 Cartoixa is mostly Garnacha with 25% Cariñena from 12 different vineyards (with an aim to select the best from each vineyard) and combines the traditional use of full clusters in concrete along with more modern vinification—destemmed grapes in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts. It matured in a mixture of 1,400-liter foudres, 500-liter bocoyes and 225-liter barriques for 24 months. It's serious, balanced, harmonious and ripe without excess. The oak is neatly integrated, and the palate reveals ripe flavors and great balance. A great improvement over the previous year. 8,400 bottles were filled in June 2017.

James Suckling:

A big, rich Priorat red with great black-cherry aroma, but also just a hint of overripeness that gives some sweetness to the palate. Healthy tannic base and enough acidity, but slight warmth from alcohol on the finish. Drink now or hold.
